The Friends of the Libraries of Foster is a group of library lovers and dedicated volunteers. They hold fundraisers to supplement the libraries’ materials and programming budget throughout the year and serve as library advocates in the community.
Dear Friend of The Libraries of Foster,
The Libraries of Foster are resuming (mostly) normal operations as we leave 2020 behind. In that spirit, we would like to revive our Friends of the Libraries group. We need volunteers to host fundraisers and special events and be the community’s voice in advocating for our library. We are about to embark on a project that will give Foster a new, purpose-built, accessible library building. Your support is essential for us to reach this goal and provide our Town with the services it deserves.
Will you join us? All you need is a love of libraries, the fortitude to attend one meeting a month (with refreshments!), and a willingness to pitch in and give the Foster Libraries the gift of your time and talent. Give our Director, Jayne Lear a call at 397-4801, or email us at jlear@fosterlibraries.org.
Sincerely,
Matthew Haynes
President, Libraries of Foster Board of Trustees
