Summer reading is here! Packets are available to pick up at the library any time. All ages are invited to participate. Each packet includes a bingo card and a pamphlet of activities all summer long.
Each week, our library will feature a new craft for Summer Reading! Crafts will take place each Wednesday and Thursday at 1pm, and each Friday at 2pm.

Summer Reading Kickoff – July 9, 6pm
Join us for s’mores and storytime to get this party started!
Terracotta Pot Painting – July 8 & 9, 1pm; July 10, 2pm
Decorate a mini pot with acrylic paints.
Flower Crowns & Wreaths – July 15 & 16, 1pm; July 17, 2pm
Make a beautiful crown or wreath with faux flowers and wire.
Gardening Program – July 17, 3pm for children; July 24, 3:30pm for adults
Learn about gardens from Lauren of Lucky Dogs Farm!

Sand Art Bottles – July 22 & 23, 1pm; July 24, 2pm
Fill empty bottles with bright and colorful sand.

Paint the wooden base and attach whimsical chimes!
Apple Valley Minerals – July 31, 4pm
Crack open a geode and learn about rocks and crystals from Louis Fazzina of Apple Valley Minerals!
Suncatcher Painting – August 5 & 6, 1pm; August 7, 2pm
Paint your suncatcher and decorate with beads!
Animal Experiences – August 13, 5:30pm, Foster Fairgrounds
Join Dave Marchetti for interactive animal fun! Meet reptiles and mammals and maybe even hold them!
Ice Cream Social – August 14, 2pm
Our summer reading finale will feature old-fashioned lawn games and ice cream for all ages.
