Emergency Preparedness Workshop
Rhode Island Department of Health will lead an interactive workshop on how to be prepared for any emergency situation. Join us at 6pm on April 18 at Foster Public Library. Anyone who is interested is welcome to join.
Duck Egg Candling
Join Shelley and Olivia to virtually check on the progress of the Foster ducklings! The first candling will take place on March 25 at 7:30pm. Follow our Facebook page to be notified when we go live. A second candling will take place on April 8 at 7:30pm.
Magazine Collage Night
From old magazines springs new creativity! Use images to put together vision boards, make poetry with words you find, or create a mosaic of abstract art. All materials are provided. Your imagination is the limit! We’ll see you at Foster Public Library on April 10 between 5:30-7:30!
Kid’s Terrarium Craft

Fungi Finders
Join us for our first mushroom identification walk of the year! Local mycologist Deana Thomas joins us to identify all the forms of fungi around Foster. The walk will start at Foster Library on Saturday, April 6 at 11am. Registration is required. Sign up in person, by phone, or online.
Solar Eclipse Presentation
Ladd Observatory’s Francine Jackson is coming to Tyler Free Library to tell us all about the upcoming eclipse! Find out what causes this astronomical phenomenon and learn how to view it safely.
